Training Update
Covid-19 has impacted on the daily routine of physical activity and significantly reduced Gmax outreach while schools were closed due to COVID-19, resulting in both physical development and fitness opportunities no longer available in schools through the Gmax programs.
Gmax is now focused with Young people’s emotional wellbeing and mental health which has also suffered, with many yearning for time with their friends and to have structure and routine again in their day.
It is more important than ever for us to harness the power of play, sport, physical activity and physical education to help students rebuild their functional capacity, belonging and happiness.
From Mon 19th Oct our training timetable will change as we have secured track time at Sutcliffe Park Athletics Track
Monday 5.30pm-7pm (per book through Gmax)
Tuesday 5.30pm-7pm (per book through Cambridge Harriers)
Thursday 5.30-7pm (per book through Cambridge Harriers)
Saturday 9.0am-10.30am (per book through Gmax)
Saturday afternoon Yoga (free at Sydenham Dragonfly Yoga Studio)
Sunday (hills session and overspeed will probably be in Bellingham leisure centre on the grass (free.)
