Is a partnership with LEGO and GMAX the next big thing to be built?

Could there be a partnership with GMAX Trackstars and LEGO under construction? Possibly – we’re definitely open to it.

Last month, the famous Danish toy production company generously donated an assortment of furniture to GMAX. Although GMAX had no desire to use it exclusively, we definitely knew who could benefit from it. One of Southeast London’s local schools – Bishop Justus Church of England School. GMAX is always looking for ways to improve the community and give back – especially when children are in the mix.

GMAX and Bishop Justus Church of England School are incredibly grateful for this donation and would like to express our sincerest gratitude to LEGO. We thank you for your kindness.

Read on for more details about this generous exchange and for thoughts on the schools’ behalf.

LEGO and GMAX donated an estimated £2,000 worth of furniture to Bishop Justus School which they say that they are very grateful to both enterprises. The donated furniture consists of 12 tabletop desks that are now being used by their secondary students.

When the school business manager Juliana was approached by GMAX director Mark Lancaster she was enthralled to hear about the donation. But how did the collaboration come to be? As it so happens, Mark has a grandson named Josiah who attends Bishop Justus and so the collaboration just seemed to fit. Josiah was thrilled to hear that his grandfather was happy to consider his school during these crucial times. Josiah felt that seeing his school, GMAX and LEGO partner up was a welcomed experience and provides an advantage for his fellow classmates.

Bishop Justus says it is really fortunate to have received the furniture and that it has given students a refreshing area for them to come in and sit down and focus on their learning.  The new round design of the tabletops encourages collaboration as they are able to sit in a circle amongst each other to discuss different topics. Also, they say the desks offer more room for students to have their books, laptops and other stationary available without causing too much clutter.

GMAX hopes there are more partnerships like this with other companies in the future as not only is it a beneficial act for companies to do but it also impacts everyone around the community. Students who were affected by the lockdowns in Bishop Justus now feel as if they have someplace refreshing to learn and do their work.

Again, GMAX would like to extend a big thank you to LEGO for being so kind in their donation.
